Development

As with most independent schools, tuition at Trinity School provides only a portion of the funds needed to support the school’s programs, projects and people. Therefore, we rely on the generosity of stakeholders who choose to invest in the exciting future of this school and in the lives of our children.

For a young institution, Trinity has been enormously blessed with the financial support of parents, grandparents, community friends, and a few foundations. We have consistently met or exceeded our Annual Fund Goal each year, and in November 2002 we successfully completed the $5 million Campaign for Trinity. The first campaign provided for the purchase of our Pickett Road campus, the lower school classroom building, and a gymnasium.

But Trinity is growing up! In the fall of 2006, Trinity School began with its first class of ninth graders and will add a grade each year thereafter. To support this next stage of Trinity’s growth, Trinity launched its $8.4 million Trinity Capital Campaign in March 2006. The funds will provide seed money for hiring high school faculty; curriculum planning and support; an excellent classroom building for upper school students, which will include a new library and science labs; a student activities center; additional parking; and a second athletic field. Details of the campaign can be found in this section under The Capital Campaign.

It is exciting to see how different people with different gifts and resources have stepped forward and participated in building Trinity School. Such timing and faithfulness have given us the courage to move forward. If you have questions or would like to contribute a gift or an idea, please contact me at jmcadams@trinityschoolnc.org or call 402-8262, ext. 2504.
