Veracross Portal FAQs
Veracross is a web-based tool that allows Trinity parents and students to access information such as class rosters, people directories, calendars, student schedules, announcements, attendance, and easily update your family contact information. The student, family, and faculty/staff directories in Veracross offer advanced capabilities and more direct communication with the school.
Parents use the Veracross username and password that they set up during the admission process to access their Parent Portal accounts. If you are having trouble accessing your portal account, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
Sign in soon and explore the features available to you as a Trinity parent. Please also verify and update your household profile with your contact information, directory preferences, and other personal information.

1. How do I access the Veracross portal?
First, click on "LOGIN" at the top of the Trinity home page. Enter your username and password and click "login." Then click on the Veracross button on the right-hand side.
2. Who can see my information?
Veracross has over one hundred security roles designed to fit independent schools. Each user of Veracross (parents, students, faculty, staff, alumni.) has his or her own set of security roles based on their role at Trinity. This means that the Business Office does not see medical information, and our school nurse does not see financial information. Your information is extremely safe in this system.
3. What if I am having trouble updating my contact information on my profile?

4. What if I forgot my password?
Use the “forgot password” link on the login page.
5. How do I find out how many days my child has missed or has been late to school?
Attendance is shown to the right of your child’s photo. Please remember that all students who are tardy should check in at their division's main office.
6. Why doesn’t my calendar show all school events?
Your Veracross calendar is customized for you and your family. At the present time, you can view Trinity’s official school calendar here.
7. What security measures have been put into place to secure our data?
The information for each student is visible only to his or her parents or guardians with whom Trinity has been authorized to share it. You control that authorization. Other Trinity families and people outside of Trinity cannot see your child's schedule, attendance, or grades.
A reminder: Please do not share your login information with your student. Students each have their own Veracross account and username/password.
Directory information is visible only to members of the Trinity community (current parents, faculty, and staff). It is not visible to the public. A full audit/update/edit log shows all changes made to the data. We view the log daily to see all changes that have occurred on the previous days.
The Veracross server is housed in a secure location outside of Trinity and is maintained seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Your password plays a big part in Veracross security: please choose a password that is hard to guess. A good password contains lower and uppercase letters and numbers in what seems like a random pattern. However, it should be one you can remember.
