Writing Center Philosophy

The Trinity School Wlriting Center exists to help students develop strategies for producing more effective writing skills. Writing Center consultants are trained to work with students across all stages of the writing process, including brainstorming ideas, choosing topics, creating drafts, organizing and developing arguments, revising, and/or editing.

The Writing Center is not a skills center or a correction service; consultants will help writers with grammar but will not make any changes on a paper, edit, or fix a paper for the writer.

To schedule an appointment with a consultant, email the Writing Center at writingcenter@tsdch.org. The center is open Monday-Friday by appointment only.

The Writing Center is open for drop-in conferences on Wednesdays only, from 3:15-4:15, in the library.
