All new-to-Trinity Middle and Upper School parents are cordially invited to a Welcome to Trinity reception at the home of Chip and Desirée Denton on Thursday, August 19, from 5:00–6:30 p.m.

Stop by these Info Fair tables: Lower School, Athletics, School Nurse, Athletic Trainer, Business Office, Trinity Clubs, Trinity Parent Organization, Trinity Neighborhood After-school Program, Veracross Parent Portal, Trinity Music and Band, School and College Counselors, Trinity Fund, Head of School, Student Learning and Support Services, Blue and Gold Auction, and Hot Lunch.

11:00 a.m. | Food Truck Rodeo
This year all families will have the opportunity to enjoy our special back-to-school celebration. Food will be available for purchase from Soomsoom Pita Pockets, Baguettaboutit, and Porchetta.

12:30 p.m. | Welcome to Middle School | The HUB
Middle School families are invited to The HUB to hear from Matt Hall, Director of Middle School; Chip Denton, Head of School; and Trinity Parent Organization president Julie Johnson, and then head on over to the classrooms to meet their teachers.

12:45 p.m. | Classroom Visits
Middle School students will visit their classrooms, meet their homeroom teachers and faculty, find their lockers, and connect and meet friends.

Middle School Trip to Camp Hanes

Thursday, August 23–Friday, August 24 | Middle School Trip to Camp Hanes
Students should arrive on campus by 8:45 a.m.

The Middle School begins the school year with an overnight class trip meant to build relationships among and between Middle School students and faculty as the school year begins. The Middle Schoolers and faculty will travel by charter buses to YMCA Camp Hanes in King, NC, leaving a little after 9 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, August 23. We will spend the night and return in the afternoon on Friday, August 24. There is no additional cost for this trip. Please note: per Trinity policy and to encourage socializing, students are not permitted to bring cell phones, iPads, iPods, or any electronic devices on this trip.

Camp Hanes Packing List
Bedding: sleeping bag or sheets/pillow to fit a twin bed
Bath towels
Personal toiletries
Casual clothes**
Rain gear?? Hope not!
Refillable water bottle
Insect repellant
Camera (not a cell phone camera)
Flashlight – change to NEW batteries
Comfortable shoes + an additional pair for water
Please leave cell phones and all electronic devices at home.

** Please remember you represent Trinity School on this trip – casual clothes should be appropriate per Trinity dress code. Young ladies may wear Nike-style athletic shorts for this trip only.
