Important Dates and Deadlines
Admission decisions are made when the entire application process is complete (when all required documents have been received in the Admission Office and the appropriate assessments have been completed). The Admission Committee, which is overseen by the Director of Enrollment Management, reviews the applications and informs applicants of their admission decisions via the Veracross admission portal according to the admission timelines above.
Applicant Wait Pool
Due to high demand for placement and high re-enrollment rates at our school, qualified applicants may be placed in a wait pool. All students placed in a wait pool are deemed qualified for admission, should a place become available. We do not rank applicants placed in a wait pool. Whenever a space becomes available, we will offer admission to the candidate who is the best fit for that class.
Applications received after the priority deadlines will be processed and considered as they are received. While most classes are filled from our initial applicant pool, we do occasionally have spaces available in the spring and summer. Please contact the Admission Office with specific questions. The school gives precedence in the allocation of flexible tuition rates to families who meet the priority deadline.
Acceptance Response Date Conflicts
If Trinity's notification date falls prior to that of another school to which you're applying and that school is a member of the Triangle Independent School Consortium (TISC), Trinity will extend its acceptance response deadline.
If you have submitted before-deadline applications to more than one of these TISC schools, you will not be required to make a binding commitment or deposit until you have heard an admission decision from all of the TISC schools to which you have applied. Please contact Karman Kent, Director of Enrollment Management, at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 919-402-8262, ext. 1503, to request an extension.
