An Evening with Dr. Curt Thompson
March 30, 2023, 7–8:30 p.m. in The HUB of Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill
As educators and as parents, we see firsthand the mental health challenges that children face. Trinity has invited renowned author and speaker Dr. Curt Thompson to explore with us how we can respond in a biblical way to support the children God has placed in our care.
Curt Thompson, MD, is an author and speaker who connects our intrinsic desire to be known with the need to tell truer stories about ourselves—showing us how to form deep relationships, discover meaning, and live integrated, creative lives. On March 30, Dr. Thompson will be coming to Trinity School to meet with area church leaders, students, faculty, and staff to provide his scientific and biblical perspective on reasons to be hopeful in the midst of uncertainty around mental health. That evening, we’re inviting parents to explore with him how the ideas of suffering and wholeness tie into Trinity’s mission. There will be an opportunity for Dr. Thompson to respond to questions from the audience.
