Trinity has grown from its first class of 39 students in 1995 to more than 530 students in grades TK-12 today.

Math manipulatives help students master crucial fundamentals like number sense and algebraic concepts. Singapore Math allows students to experience numbers and equations through hands-on learning.
Our classes in grades 1-3 have 18 students with one full-time teacher and one full-time teacher's aide.
Our first graders love their reading buddies, who encourage and support them as they grow their confidence in reading aloud.
Second graders visit Duke Homestead and do a deep dive into their colonial trade and pioneer studies.
Music classes focus on singing, movement, music history, and instrumental ensembles. Trinity hosts evening concerts in the fall and spring, allowing 6th-12th grade students to showcase their musical talents.
Sixth graders are the leaders of the Lower School as they adjust to early adolescence and the emotional challenges that accompany this developmental stage. Trinity's sixth grade prepares students for a smooth transition to Middle School.
Our Christian faculty open the door for students to ask questions and be curious about God. Scripture is woven into our curriculum and explored in Bible classes, weekly worship, and daily prayer.
Our Lower School Library is open before and after school for students. Our librarian, Mrs. Burson, makes great suggestions, keeps our bookshelves full of interesting new titles, and provides a monthly storytime for students and siblings.
Physical, emotional, and spiritual safety are top priorities for Trinity. Faculty and staff ensure exterior doors remain locked throughout the day, ask all visitors to sign in, and safely check students in and out of campus.
In Physical Education classes across all divisions, students are learning how to care for their bodies through stretching, exercises, essential skill building, healthy eating, plyometrics, and weight training.

Sixth graders can participate in Middle School athletics in the fall, winter, and spring. The teams and coaches focus on character development, love of the game, fundamental skills, and teamwork.
Trinity's Middle School includes grades 7 and 8. Middle School lockers are outside, and students enjoy cross-grade friendships.
Middle School classes are 50 minutes long, and the core classes—Math, Science, Bible, History, Language Arts, and Latin—meet four times per week.
Middle School grades are currently capped at 54 students, with class sizes of about 18 students per class meeting.
Trinity seventh and eighth graders spend two years studying Algebra I, laying a strong foundation for Upper School math.
In seventh grade Life Science, students are introduced to basic principles of the scientific method and inquiry, including hypothesis, analysis, measurement, graphing, inference, classification, and modeling.
In eighth grade Physical Science, students explore principles of chemistry and physical science and conduct a quarter-long research project in the areas of electricity or magnetism.
Middle School students write often and in a variety of styles, including narrative, descriptive, persuasive, and explanatory writing. An emphasis on ideas, organization, and sentence fluency leads to a discovery of their own voice.
American History investigates arguments, themes, and essential questions, spanning pre-contact native American peoples to the writing of the American Constitution, to the abolitionist movement in the mid-1800s and the Civil Rights movement.
Trinity students study Latin from grades 4–8, deepening their grasp of the language while exploring Roman culture.
Middle School Bible moves from an Old Testament focus in seventh grade to a New Testament focus in eighth grade, specifically the person and work of Jesus, along with the life, impact, and practices of the early church.
Opportunities to present with clarity and purpose abound, including an eighth grade requirement of presenting at Sanctuary weekly worship as part of a Bible and Language Arts project.

Upper School spiritual life includes devotions in Cornerstone, prayer in Advisory, and Theology I and II studies in grades 10 and 12.
Seats in Upper School science and math classrooms are often configured in groups of two, three, or four to encourage collaboration and teamwork.
Trinity is a "physics-first" school, and students progress from Physics to Chemistry to Biology, followed by a variety of science electives such as Chemistry of Energy and Advanced Physics.
Humanities—an interdisciplinary study of English and history—is a cornerstone of Trinity's Upper School curriculum. Desks are configured in a semicircle to encourage Socratic discussion.

Trinity's athletics programs are fiercely competitive but compassionately Christian. The Lions earned four 2019 Tri-TAC Conference Championships, and 80 percent of Trinity's Upper School students play at least one sport.
