 Middle School Bible Teacher

Trinity School seeks a full-time Middle School Bible teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to teach three sections of the seventh grade Bible course, and another section of a Middle School course, to be determined based on the qualifications and interests of the candidate.

This position requires the ability to teach Scripture in a pedagogically versatile and engaging manner.  We are looking for a teacher with a profound love of Scripture and a desire to help equip students with the tools to study the Bible deeply. The candidate must also value Trinity’s strong commitment to the spiritual formation of our students. Trinity seeks teachers who emphasize not only the mastery of concepts and content, but also who provide rich learning experiences that allow students to develop their skills as researchers, critical thinkers, writers, and public speakers.  We desire to hire faculty who will be able to connect deeply with their students in order to help accomplish our goal of each student at Trinity feeling "known and loved." Trinity has a 1:1 iPad program for students in grades 6-12, and the ideal candidate also will possess knowledge of and interest in instructional technologies to enhance the students’ learning experiences.

Trinity is a highly missional school, and an understanding of and commitment to the school's mission is essential. We seek faculty who love Jesus and value diversity, equity, and inclusion in their Christian practice. We desire faculty who teach well and delight in adolescents, who, at Trinity, range from academically average to exceptional. Though not a covenant school, Trinity approaches all teaching from an Evangelical, Orthodox, and Ecumenical perspective. We are looking for educators who can confidently and comfortably teach within this framework.

Candidates should possess at minimum a bachelor's degree, preferably in Christian education or related subjects, and truly enjoy being with and teaching adolescents. Advanced study in this field is preferred, along with proven experience as a secondary-level teacher. While not required, holding current teacher certification is seen as an asset.  In Trinity's fast-growing Middle community, camaraderie, collaboration, showing up for student events, enthusiasm for Trinity's mission, and pitching in for the good of each other and our students are high values. Trinity also values faculty who are involved in school life beyond the classroom and, therefore, applicants who can coach, advise a club, or otherwise enrich our vibrant community.

To be considered, qualified candidates should attach a cover letter, resume, and any other supporting documents, such as college transcripts and certifications, to their Trinity application.
