Grandparents and Special Friends

The Trinity Grandparents Committee was established in 2006 to assist the school in three primary areas: classroom volunteerism, outreach to the wider Trinity grandparent community, and fundraising.

Those of us on the committee feel fortunate to live close enough to our grandchildren that we are able to enter into their lives in various ways at the school. We’ve had great fun reading in the classrooms, volunteering at the annual Grandparents and Special Friends Day, working in the Trinity library, and sponsoring Grandparents Treat Day each spring. We’ve also joined many of Trinity's friends and families in helping financially as we are able.

The Grandparents Committee hopes to reach out in new ways to Trinity grandparents who live farther away. We welcome ideas on how we may serve you and serve Trinity School better.

Once COVID restrictions have been lifted, we will resume meeting on the first Wednesday of each month at the school. All Trinity grandparents, whether far or near, are invited to be a member of the Grandparents Committee. For more information, contact Lynn Hand, staff liaison to the Grandparents Committee, at lhand@tsdch.org.

Are you a Trinity Grandparent? Would you like to receive periodic emails and mailings from us? If so, please send your contact information to Lynn Hand (lhand@tsdch.org). We hope to be able to see you on campus next fall!
